Mr. Freeman has been an Associate with Finnerty, Canda & Drisgula, PC since 2010.  He practices exclusively in the area of family law and represents clients in all aspects of matrimonial litigation, including divorce, child custody and parenting time, equitable distribution, support, marital agreements, domestic violence, alternate dispute resolution, civil unions, and domestic torts.  Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Freeman served as law clerk to the Honorable William R. DeLorenzo, Jr., J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Family Part in Bergen County.  He thereafter was a member of the Family Law Groups at Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer, PC in Woodbridge, and Riker, Danzig, Scherer, Hyland & Perretti, LLC, in Morristown.

Mr. Freeman earned his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University as a goalkeeper on the Men’s Soccer Team, and subsequently enjoyed a five year professional career in the United States and England. He thereafter returned to his alma mater and graduated from the Syracuse University College of Law in 2005, with a specialty certificate of study from the school’s Center for Family Law and Social Policy.  He is a member of the Family Law Section of the Bergen County Bar Association and New Jersey Bar Association, as well as a participant in the Barry Croland Family Law American Inn of Court.
